DESCRIPTION:

Our Scout and WeresieBear Adventure leader Geff knows how to catch, kill and cook, almost anything. But he`s a vegetarian at heart and passes out as the sight of blood! But that won't stop him from showing you how to catch wild game, a skill long forgotten by most.

Our resident life-long vegetarian Siobhan will use her Herbalism and Nutritional knowledge as she shows you how to forage safely and sustainably for wild edible plants.

Our Forester Barry will prep` the wood for our ethical traps and snares, while we will discuss with you the ethical ways to practice meat hunting, consumerism and consumption.

We will pass through these habitats with a greater love and respect for the flora and fauna that live there.

PRICE INCLUDES:

The price of your 1 day forest food foraging adventure includes camp food, course instruction and basic equipment.

DON'T FOEGET:

You'll need to bring warm comfortable cloths, boots, wet gear and a penknife and be at least 16 years old. We also recommend a backpack for your foraged goodies and a notebook to record hints and tips.

OUR TIPS:

Forest foraging and wild game hunting can be learnt by anyone with a willingness to give it a go. We recommend that you have some camping experience, but the complete novice is also welcome - just be prepared for wet weather, warm green forests and a hands on practical experience.
