DELVE DEEP INTO THE WOODLAND WORLD OF BUSHCRAFT
Get your hiking boots on and follow WeresieBear into the wooded heartlands of the Wild Atlantic Way and discover the charm and delight of this detailed bushcraft skills adventure. On this full day course in either Kilbrittain Recreation Forest/Shippool Woods/Dundrerrow Woods you'll learn how to build emergency shelters, make and use a friction fire drills, learn how to find clean drinking water, use the natural offerings of trees and plants to make tools, oils, food and emergency equipment, make ethical snare, catch and release live traps, forage for edible and medicinal plants and a whole host of woodland skills forgotten by most modern societies.
The price of your 1 day woodland adventure includes wild camp food, course instruction and basic equipment.
You'll need to wear suitable clothing with hiking boots and be at least 16 years old, under 18s require a participating adult guardian or parent! Also, bring your wet gear, a pen knife and your backpack!
Bushcraft can be learnt by anyone with a willingness to give it a go. We recommend that you have some camping experience, but the complete novice is also welcome - just be prepared for wet weather, hot green forests and a hands on practical experience.

WE MEET AT 10AM FOR INDUCTION & SAFETY INFORMATION BEFORE SETTING BASE CAMP AND HEADING INTO THE FOREST TO GET UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL WITH NATURE AND THOSE ALL IMPORTANT BUSHCRAFT AND SURVIVAL SKILLS.
